Don't Pay A Website Designer To Create Your Grooming Business Website When You Can Do It Yourself By Just Pointing & Clicking
Now that was, 16 years ago, and back then, I knew nothing about the internet. I mean, l had trouble just figuring out how to get that thingamajiggy to dial up and connect to the internet. And I wasn't even so sure as to what exactly I was connecting to. I was still trying to grasp the concept of how to maneuver the mouse straight. And I built a website! Which means that so can you! But now it's even easier. They practically have the thing already built for you with the new updated sitebuilders.
So why am I rambling on about websites? Because almost 90% of consumers now use the internet to search for products and services. Services like pet grooming. Consumers are searching online instead of using phone books like they did way back then. Which means, that a majority of your new customers should be coming from the internet. You just need a website. And you can have one for FREE, and you can do it yourself in just a couple of hours.
I have just finished uploading a complete E-guide along with tutorials and everything you will need to build your own site. I even included a free five page grooming business website content cheat sheet and outline. The ONLY thing you need to know how to do is type some text and move your mouse around. It is completely free, there is NO catch. The only difference between a paid site and a free one is that the paid versions allow you some more features and do not have the sitebuilder branding on the bottom of your site. Paid sites also allow you to have your own custom website address.I do recommend going with the paid version since they are only about $10/ month plus your domain name. Super cheap marketing! But for getting started purposes, just build the free one for now. You can always easily upgrade later. No website means that your competitors are getting all of those phone calls from the internet. If your ready to do this, click here to go to the new free section of the PetBusinessDashboard that will provide you with the free website E-guide and tutorials.
And it is so simple to do that I don't know why I did not think of this before. In less than 15 minutes, I simply edited & uploaded a new Facebook cover image that transformed the fanpage cover image of a friend's grooming business into an interactive, printable coupon. An interactive, printable coupon! How neat is that?! Now I just did this with only my computer and an internet connection -no other tools. But it can also be done on just a tablet or even a mobile device.
Can you imagine how many new grooming customers this could bring in? It's like a 24/7 FREE advertisement. And if you already have a fanpage for your grooming business, then you know that business fanpages are completely free. Plus, since Facebook has removed their cover image text restrictions, this is totally doable. (at least this week anyway. Facebook updates things quicker than I can type).
So, I went ahead and designed five beautiful new grooming cover images for any grooming business owner that wants one. It took forever since I had to be sure that when people view them on mobile devices, that they still looked good. Since the mobile view of all fanpage cover images cuts off about an inch on each side. That in itself was tricky. Then, I had to make the cover images into user friendly, editable templates that anybody could quickly edit without any proprietary software. So, they are now ready and you can edit them right online from your PC, Mac, Tablet or Mobile device in just minutes by simply pointing & clicking.
If you are wondering just how you go about turning the cover image into a coupon and how to make it interactive and printable, click here for the step by step directions. It gives you all of the details on how to do it. It's quick & easy and it's free to do, (except for the template of course). But, I priced them very cheap. And once you put it on your fanpage, it will continuously bring you in new customers. So, for about the price of a dog nail trim, you can have this cover image in place as a permanent, 24/7 free advertisement for your grooming business. Click here to see the four designs that are available. I also created a hot pink with black design but that design is an exclusive that is limited to our premium dashboard members. So if you are a premium member, you can click here to login and download ALL five of the designs, including the exclusive hot pink one.
Here is the link to the recent article about the recent issue regarding the groomer who posted photos of celebrity Johnny Depp's dogs online. In this case, the article states that Depp probably would not have been caught if it were not for the groomer posting the images online. Now it's doubtful that the groomer should face any liability issue in this case since the owner of the dogs had acted in an unlawful manner and THAT was what got him into trouble. Not the groomer.
BUT, what if the same situation took place and the dog owner was not a celebrity. What if the dog owner was instead, a victim of domestic violence and had moved quite often in order to keep herself hidden and safe from her attacker? What if in this case, the groomer posting photos of the dogs online led to the domestic violence victim being located & found by her attacker? Who then attacked her again. Hmmmmm...
Could THAT scenario put your grooming business at risk for a liability lawsuit? It's pretty likely. But again, I'm no attorney. Now this is a pretty extreme example here but a good business sense should always lead you to planning for worst case scenario and rainy days. So here are three things that you may want to consider looking into this week to protect your grooming business:
Once a year, their customers waited for this 1x/ year sale and people flocked in! Sales totaled in the tens of thousands each day for the week that the sale was ran each year. This was in a small town with a population of under 10,000 so just imagine how a sale like that would do in a larger area.
Here Is How You Can Do This In Your Pet Grooming Salon:
If you need some quick business operating cash, you can pre-sell grooming by running a gift certificate sale to your current clients. An example would be to run a special 1x a year sale for current grooming clients where they can pre-pay/purchase $100 worth of grooming for only $90. They then use that gift certificate for their grooming appointments throughout the year. This is a hot selling sale item for customers who come to you every six weeks. Who wouldn't want to save on a service that they pay for regularly? It's like saving on groceries or another necessity.
The KEY to the success of a sale like this is to explain to each customer about how this sale can save them on their grooming all year long. Most customers won't think about how much it can save them. Once they do...they typically buy.
How To Get Started:
We have pre-made three different printable gift certificate designs for you. Along with a display poster to promote them. You can instantly download them and print them out in a few minutes. We sell them for only $3.95. That's dirt cheap! You will get both a ready to print gift certificate pdf that you won't even need to edit. Just simply print them out. AND you also get an editable template & instructions if you do want to customize the gift certificates or poster. Either way, it's an incredibly easy & quick little way to implement this idea. Here is the link to the three different gift certificate designs. You can be printing them out within minutes of now.
